Every idea starts with a problem. Ours was simple: properly healthy food is difficult to find.
When our founder was diagnosed with a serious cancer in 2006 he immediately wanted to change his diet. Trying to find honestly healthy food in London was nearly impossible. When he talked with other people he realised many had similar experiences.
We started Farmstand to create a solution.
By setting up a central kitchen hub (circumventing traditional restaurant models), establishing close relationships with local suppliers, forging strategic distribution partnerships with corporates and engaging with customers directly, we’re able to provide higher-quality, better-looking, better-tasting healthy food in multiple locations and also at a reasonable price.
We believe that everyone (all ages, nationalities and social classes) has the right to eat well (especially as our founder grew up working class).
There’s nothing complicated about it. We make environmentally friendly food that enables people to eat better, feel better and live better.
