Farmstand was founded in January 2016 in London.
We are a plant-powered, offline and online, profit with purpose food company.
Our menu is based on the diet our Founder has been following since he was diagnosed with cancer and he believes it was vital to improving his health.
80% of the menu is vegan, 5% sustainable fish and 15% ethical meat. Every dish is also free from dairy, added sugar and artificial ingredients.
We offer breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, juice, coffee, wine, beer and always free filtered water.
Our food is both build your own and ready to go.
Farmstand can be found in London at our restaurants, in corporate cafes and online.
Our Founder, Steven, grew up in a working-class family in Milwaukee, Wisconsin across the street from a farm.
In 2006, he was diagnosed with cancer and wanted to change how he ate yet finding healthy food was difficult.
Before getting the all-clear, he set three goals:
1. become closer to friends and family
2. finish climbing the Seven Summits
3. build a healthy, sustainable and affordable food business
In January 2015 (a year to the day before we opened our first flagship restaurant), Steven held a pop-up restaurant in his house for 200 people. 97% gave us a thumbs up to open a restaurant.
With a mutual love of good food, travel and decent coffee, our team bring a wealth of fascinating life experience and adventure to Farmstand.
From Milwaukee to London, Shanghai to Auckland and all sorts of places in between, our team come from all over the world.
And with our combined knowledge of mountaineering, LCD Soundsystem’s greatest hits and bird life of the British Isles, we also happen to have the makings of a pretty good pub quiz team.
