Farmstand is a healthy and sustainable food company founded in January 2016.
We operate 12 multi-format Farmstands and one central kitchen hub in London.
We offer breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks and snacks.
We sell our food and drink in our fast-casual restaurants, in corporate canteens, supermarkets, gyms and online.
Steven was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin across the street from a farm. He grew up in a working class family (his Dad worked the night shift in a factory and his Mom worked in a supermarket).
In December 2006, he was diagnosed with a serious cancer and the prognosis was poor. Before he was given the all clear he set three goals: become closer to his friends and family, see the world (finish climbing the Seven Summits including Everest) and start a healthy food business.
On Tuesday, 27 January 2015 (a year to the day before we opened our flagship Farmstand restaurant in Covent Garden), Steven used his own home as a pop-up restaurant for one night only for 200 people to help design our offering (which is most of what you see today).
With a mutual love of good food, travel and decent coffee, our team bring a wealth of fascinating life experience and adventure to Farmstand.
From Milwaukee to London, Shanghai to Auckland and all sorts of places in between, our team come from all over the world.
And with our combined knowledge of mountaineering, LCD Soundsystem’s greatest hits and bird life of the British Isles, we also happen to have the makings of a pretty good pub quiz team.
